Makeup is a creative outlet I use in my specific type of work. My dream is to be a fashion photographer, so when I use makeup, it helps me to understand more about color theory, composition, and many other concepts of art and photography. The colors and application helps me not only understand more, but use different elements and techniques to add and create more to my art. Makeup is a big part of expression in my life, so when I also use it in my art, it inspires me to keep growing and creating new things. This also applies to all other photos and inspiration I described. My makeup represents my creativity and the exploration of new and unconventional ideas. When I use makeup, I feel I can explore more outside my comfort zone with color, shape, and even texture. Makeup helps to boost my creativity and style beyond anything else. Through makeup I grow the most artistically and creatively. I’m able to experiment new things and try techniques I’ve never used before. I’m also able to experiment with color, shape, line, and texture. These elements are all things any artist needs to know and understand. Through doing my makeup I’m able to learn new techniques and study different styles.
